Beth El Sisterhood


Every woman who is a member of Beth El Congregation is considered to be a member of the Sisterhood, is invited to each monthly meeting and receives the minutes of those meetings. All women are encouraged to pay annual dues in support of our on-going membership in WRJ (Women of Reform Judaism) and of our activities. Sisterhood provides the oneg Shabbat at each rabbi-led service, arranges the community Pesach seder, hosts a Chanukah fundraising dinner, runs the Beth El giftshop, supplies the kitchen with many necessities and plans and carries out a number of community service activities.

In May, the Sisterhood assembled pool/beach bags for the women at First Step and their children. Kids received pool and beach toy kits.
