The Temple's Library contains more than 1,250 items, with a focus on Jewish culture, history, and religious life. These include books, periodicals, and CDs.

The Beth El Library also contains a unique Oral History Collection of Jewish Life in Harrisonburg. The materials are on audio and video compact disks (CD's). The collection was created and curated by longtime Beth El member Mr. Chuck Slott z”l.
