“A Covid Update”

This Covid thing really knocks the stuffing out of you. What I wrote about koakh, strength, you can ignore. Writing even a column is exhausting. BUT, I am grateful that, all things considered, Suzy and I are doing well; our symptoms are minor (everything is relative) and at least we’re isolating together. For the first day after receiving the test result, I was in my office while Suzy was roaming the entire house. Then she received her positive diagnosis and the doors opened wide.

People ask where we got the virus. I’m so tempted to say Amazon because I have no clue – nor does she – as to the source. From what I’ve heard this is a sneaky virus and can be picked up despite all precautions.

Just let me tell you what you know and what I’ve learned…don’t mess around with Covid. It’s not worth it…keep your mask on, hand sanitize, wash often.

I should be conducting services this Friday despite the situation; I’ll be Zooming in and you’ll be livestreaming, so I look forward to seeing you (?), especially at the Oneg Shabbat.

Thanks for your good wishes. I appreciate your thoughtfulness.

  Stay healthy, for Heaven’s sake.
